When you come in, all customers are required to have ID. We're not allowed to buy any metal without ID. So, please bring some sort of a form of ID: a driver's license, a non-driver's license, whatever other ID you may have. We just need one form of id.

Our blog this week we will demonstrate on how easy it is to come in sell your metal and then go back out we'll get you in and out real fast.
Joe: 29 pounds, 25 cents a pound okay up to all that $7 I gotta give you for that.
Today we're going to talk a little bit about our scale. When you come in our gate you'll walk right on up and we have our platform scale. The scale is a 4 ft by 4 ft platform. We put your box or your cart. We can put the metal into a cart or put it on your box or your bag going to scale. Right here it's digital. So, you can see your weight right from our scale here and you can see it and you come in you can put your bag down see how much weight you have. You can even go over weigh yourself on our scale and see what your way. So, you're welcome to come in weigh yourself and we'll give you a free calendar too.
I want to give you a couple examples on how we weigh things here. So, you have a car battery. We put it right on our scale here our 4 ft by 4 ft platform. We see it weighs 38 pounds and that would be $7.60 or 20 cents a pound today.
For example we have an aluminum wheel here and put it on the scale we see it weighs 19 pounds so 19 pounds right now at 41 cents a pound you're looking at eight dollars for this wheel that's what it would be worth the scrap metal to us today our prices do change so but today it's worth $8
Here's another example automobile router the old kind the brass kind that were brass and copper put that on the scale it's a very small one there it weighs eight pounds the right ears are a dollar thirty a pound so that's ten dollars and forty cents for that right here this is a spigot from a stationary tub that you see on the common basement stationary tub and we buy these of course while the brass and all but if you had just one of these and you put it on our scale. That weighs two pounds so that would be and sixty cents because the brass right now is a dollar thirty a pound
These items are commonly found in the trash so just walking down the street you may find a couple of these items these four items total out to be just about $30 so you can make a couple extra dollars if you see any scrap so come on in and see us with some of it thanks.
