And we're going to talk a little bit about our hours. Our hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 in the morning till 5 o'clock in the afternoon. June, July and August we are closed on Saturday but we are here all week from 7:30 in the morning until five o'clock in the afternoon, Monday through Friday.

And we have a vacation coming up. So, we'll be closed from July 3rd through July 12th. We'll reopen on July 12th, Monday July 12th.

This is our blog for June 19 2021: Scrap Metal Prices Philadelphia.

Today, we're going to talk a little bit about brass. I'm going to show a couple different pieces of brass that we've gotten today: all different interesting pieces. This here piece of brass I'm holding is a base from a lamp. And we'll put this on the scale and we'll see what it weighs. And that base of the lamp is pretty heavy. It weighs 31 pounds. 31 pounds, it's $2.25 a pound right now. So, that would come out to be $69.70, 70 bucks.

For our next piece, we have another piece of brass. And this brass is an old torch, that I've never used but I've seen many of them. That weighs three pounds. That would be worth $6.75.

And for our next item, we have another piece of brass. It looks like a pump nozzle, some sort of spigot nozzle, for something that's very old. I'll put that on the scale. That weighs seven pounds. That would be $15.75.

We have another piece of brass here, old horn that was just decoration, that would somebody would have on their wall. And that's all brass. It's very light, very thin brass. And it's one pound. So, that would be like $2.25.

For our next item, we have a couple pieces of brass here. There's old lettering from a building or an office building or something. I'll put them on the scale. And they come out to be three pounds. So, that would be $6.75.

Okay, the items, we have shown you today. We had the horn. We had the lettering. We have the old lamp base, the old torch and the brass, um, I guess, nozzle you would call that. All those items there all together, they come out to be $94.50.
